Visiting Regulations & Schedule
Standardised visitation protocols enforced under Ministry regulations.
Family & Authorized Visitors
No visits permitted on weekends or national/public holidays. Visitors must present a valid government-issued ID or passport.
Legal Counsel (Avukatlar)
Attorneys registered with a Turkish Bar Association may visit during working days with valid Bar ID and Power of Attorney (Vekaletname) or authorization to confer.
Property & Medication Handover Protocols
All items are subject to inspection and administrative cataloging prior to transfer.
Cash Deposits & Clothing
Money and clean seasonal clothing can be deposited by authorized visitors or legal counsel under direct supervisory staff oversight at the intake registration desk.
- Deposited directly to the detainee account against signed receipt
- Clothing must not feature metal chains, drawstrings, or unauthorized insignia
Prescription Medication
Handed strictly to the Facility Health Unit (Sağlık Birimi). Medication must remain in original blister packs accompanied by an authorized medical prescription or hospital summary.
- Direct handover to family members inside is strictly forbidden
- Facility doctor registers and dispenses medication internally
Physical Logistics & Transportation
Allow at least 3 hours each way from central Istanbul. There is no direct gate-side public transit.
Step 1: Metrobüs Line
Take the Istanbul Metrobüs line westbound to the Avcılar or Beylikdüzü Son Durak interchange.
Step 2: İETT Bus Line 401
Transfer to İETT Bus Line 401 (Beylikdüzü – Çatalca) to reach Çatalca center terminal.
Step 3: Licensed Taxi to İnceğiz
From Çatalca center, take a licensed local taxi directly to the İnceğiz Removal Centre gate (~15–20 minutes).
